What is the purpose of the WLA Ambassador Membership?
Many in and around the financial advising profession are putting time and energy into advocating for women in the financial advising profession to create a more diverse, more inclusive industry. The Ambassador Community has been created to organize and activate that collective energy. As a nonprofit organization, the WLA has the opportunity to bring indviduals from many different corners of the financial advising profession from all around the country together to share resources, ideas, and advocacy that raise the profile of financial advising among women and to increase the retention and advancement of women within the profession.
Our purpose is to foster an inclusive, dynamic environment where members can access valuable resources and can collaborate, exchange ideas, and collectively propel women’s progress in this industry.
Our members are ambassadors because of the active role and commitment each share in advocating for change within the financial advising profession. An ambassador is not just a passive participant; they are champions and leaders at various stages on their professional path, who represent our shared mission of empowering women in financial advising. This term signifies that every individual in our community has a voice and an important part to play in driving progress and fostering collaboration.
