Steps We’re Taking to Change the Conversation
How can we best help aspiring women advisors and those that are already building their careers?
It’s a question we ask ourselves daily. Here are some of the ways we’re answering that question with programs and resources:
- Financial Advising Path for our target audience
- Sponsoring new cohorts of our Mentorship Leadership Program to give young female advisors a mentor
- Offering Sponsorships to help female college students pay for CFP® coursework and books
- Providing a Ted Talk-style presentation that any woman can download and deliver in her community
- Telling the stories of female advisors to demonstrate that the career is within reach and inspire other women to follow in their footsteps
- Continually building on our “Recommended Articles” library to put female-centered stories in one easy-to-access place
- Expanding our Ambassador Community to organize and unite our energy in moving the needle in gender representation
